Comes to Gymnastics Beat From: Clovis, CA School Attended: University High School Highest Grade Completed: Sophomore Honors: 3.3 G.P.A Major Accomplishments: Kayla has been involved in theatre since the 2nd grade and is part of the Good company Players Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theatre as well as 2nd Space Theatre. She has been involved in many shows including: “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!” “Into the Woods,” and “Fiddler on the Roof,” In August, Kayla will be in “The Miracle Worker.” Since the age of 3, Kayla began taking dance lessons including: ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance. She also took gymnastics classes for a year in a half. She got involved in the community as a Girl Scout and received the Bronze Award. Goals: Kayla hopes to be one day be on Broadway. She plans to attend college and major in Theatre Arts and minor in Design. Her goal is to obtain a 3.7 or even a 4.0 G.P.A. Kayla has signed up for our Back Handspring and Tumbling clinic in hopes of broadening her gymnastics skills. Cool Facts: Kayla’s passion is singing, dancing, jazz, modern and ballet. Some of her hobbies are playing the piano, writing songs, poetry and stories.
