June 2020 Newsletter

This is a time a time to start fresh. We are just starting our reopening process after months of lock down, we have a new website, and welcome to our new newsletter. Be sure to check back here every month where we will highlight gym updates and news, highlight extraordinary athletes and coaches, and give information on fun extracurricular and upcoming events!

Our New Website!

As you can see, we have a new website! For the past few weeks we worked with a company based out of Chicago to build up the online home for Gymnastics Beat! Feel free to explore our new website and let us know what you think. The website will continuously be updated with events, updates, class and team information, as well as pictures and this newsletter.

Our Reopening Process

If you haven't already, please go read our reopening letter. It has tons of information on when and how our reopening process will work. The key dates to pay attention to is that our competitive teams started coming into the gym for training on June 15th and our next phase of reopening, some recreational classes, will start on July 13th. For more in depth information please read through the reopening letter. If you have additional questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.

Coach of the Month

Miguel Padilla Hernandez

With over 23 years of experience in both gymnastics and cheer, Miguel found his spot at Gymnastics Beat! He has been coaching a variety of classes ranging from tumbling, gymnastics for boys and girls, Xcel training, cheer stunting and private lessons! Ever since joining our team, Miguel has stepped in to substitute many classes as well as to help with summer camps, birthday parties and weekend open gyms. Some of our top head coaches fight over Miguel, not just because of his background, but the kids enjoy his personality and sense of humor!

Featured Recipe of the Month

In our newsletter, we will be featuring one new recipe each month that will help fuel our athletes through their classes and training sessions. This month's recipe are delicious home made energy snack bars. Sometimes, energy snack bars at

Stand with your arm out and your forearm pointing upwards at 90 degrees. Place a broom stick in your hand and behind your elbow. With your other hand pull the bottom of the broom stick forward.
