Welcome Karina Silva to the Gym Beat family!

​

With 12+ years of dance experience, Karina's journey began at Modesto High School where she rocked the Pom team for four incredible years. While studying psychology at Fresno State, she brought her moves to the competitive hip hop dance team, Footnotes Fusion. There, she and her teammates dazzled audiences at the Dance Worlds in Orlando, bringing home several national titles and top world placements during her four-year stint.

After college, Karina kicked things up a notch with her professional dance training, becoming a finalist for both the SF 49ers Gold Rush Dance Team in 2023 and 2025, and the Golden State Warriors Dance Team in 2023 - talk about impressive!

When she's not showing off her amazing dance skills, Karina works as an ABA Program Manager focusing on early intervention, while also pursuing her Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis to become a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst. Smart and talented – what a combo!

 

Now, Karina brings her expertise right here to Gymnastics Beat as the instructor of our Pom Dance program, and she's also lending her talents to help out with stretching classes for our Pyramid Athletics cheer teams! We're excited to have Karina's energy and expertise join our community. Get ready to be inspired!
