Jeannie Smith
Welcome our Ambassador Jeannie! We are thrilled to introduce our newest team member for 2025, Jeannie Smith, who holds the special title of our official 'Ambassador'!

Jeannie joined our adult class a few months back and quickly became an incredible addition to our gym community. At nearly 70 years old, she brings an amazing background that includes competing in gymnastics at San Jose State University and a championship bodybuilding career where she won titles like Ms. California and Ms. America! What made her performances truly special was incorporating gymnastics elements - including backflips during her routines.

After taking a break from competition, she made an impressive comeback in 2007, even competing as part of Team USA at the International Natural Bodybuilding Association Olympia in Greece. Her professional expertise spans sports medicine, physical therapy, and OSHA training, and she owns her own company while traveling throughout California.
​
What inspires us about Jeannie is her strong personal faith, her role as a mother to 2 sons and Nana to 8 grandchildren, and her philosophy that "Motion is lotion for your muscles and body." She wasn't necessarily looking for a position, but her passion for helping others and sharing her extensive knowledge made her the perfect fit for our volunteer Ambassador role.

You can find Ambassador Jeannie at our adult open gym on Mondays and Thursdays (mostly), so if you see her, be sure to say hi! Her inspiring presence and willingness to help others has been invaluable to our coaches, staff, and athletes.
