Jill Nolen

Coach Jill is a fighter. She began taking gymnastics lessons at age 6 and began to coach in 6th grade. She has experience coaching tumbling and gymnastics for children and adults. In addition to this, she earned a B.A. in Deaf Education from CSU Fresno and has been employed at Clovis Unified as a Signing Aide and a Sign Language Interpreter.

Jill is most proud of her participation in the Transplant Games of America. As an organ recipient, she is thankful for the ability to push her body in these exhausting games and help raise awareness for the need for organ and tissue donors. Jill began competing in these games in 2012, not long after she joined us at Gymnastics Beat. Since then, she has participated 5 different years and has won 22 gold, 10 silver, and 5 bronze medals in various disciplines, including track and field, basketball, and volleyball! In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and growing succulents.

Update for 2022: Jill is also coaching the bronze level of our competitive Xcel gymnastics team! This excites Jill to get back into the competitive world she thoroughly enjoyed and  loves meeting new friends along the way. It's wonderful to have Jill involved in our competitive program and we are looking forward to the future gymnastics competitions!
